Glen Emmets were presented with the Division 3 League trophy but not in the circumstances they would have wished as their game against Nh Malachi didn't go ahead.
Much to the disappointment of the large crowd and the players, the Courtbane side were unable to field a team for the game in Tullyallen.
However, they did get to lift the trophy with captain Tom Grimes accepting the cup from Co Board Chairman, Des Halpenny.
Roche Emmets travelled to Drogheda to take on St Nicholas with nothing at stake as the Faughart men had already secured a second place finish, while the Nicks couldn't avoid bottom place.
In the end it went to form as Roche secured a very comfortable 4-15 to 0-2 win despite making a number of changes to their team.
Robert Mackin, Owen O'Hare, Barry McConnon and Eugene Murray all found the net while Cillian Shevlin and John Heeney were the only scorers for the Nicks.

The Stabannon side with the Giggins brothers in fine form had the better start and despite playing against a strong breeze were two points up in as many minutes however a fine Peter Osborne point and a similar effort from Kevin Carroll brought parity to the sides, before a fine long range effort from Kevin McMahon and another Carroll point put the home side two up.
Stabannon hit back with a goal from to help level matters at 1-2 to 0-5 at the break.
A David O'Neill free and a well worked Peter Osborne goal put the McDermotts two up with ten minutes to go, but Stabannon struck back late on to claim a draw.

Cuchulainn Gaels picked up their second win of the season when they defeated Dowdallshill by 0-13 to 0-12 but it wasn't enough to escape the relegation play-off.
The Omeath side had the better of things throughout this game and but for an excellent save by Hill goalkeeper, Noel Mohan, and a missed penalty they would have emerged much more comfortable winners.
The Dundalk side, who may have had one eye on their Junior Championship quarter-final meeting with St Kevins on Saturday, never really got into their stride but saw Gerry McShane finish with an impressive eight points.
