A strong gale in Portsalon meant that this was very much a game of two halves. The visitors raced into a 1.10 to no score lead at half time with the home team having difficulty getting into the opponents half. The Letterkenny scorers were Conor McBrearty (0.5) Patrick Doherty (1.2), Sean McDonagh (0.2) and a solo effort from centre half back Ciaran Lynch
The home team soon showed their intentions in the 2nd half as they hit 1.4 in the early minutes. The scores coming from Jimmy Coyle, Cathal Crerand and the lively Oisín Shiels. The visitors got to grips again in the middle of the field with Oisín McElhinney particularly impressive. Fanad's Joe Blaney and Ryan McConigley continued in vain but further scores from Aaron Diver and Doherty made sure the points went up the road on Marley's bus.

In the bitterly cold Scarvey, Buncrana overcame a hard working talented McCumhaills team. Buncrana led at half time 1-4 to 1-3 thanks to 2 excellent saves from Harry Doherty. A blistering start to the second half netted Buncrana 2-2 in the first 5 minutes. McCumhaills replied with a goal and a further goal from Darach O'Connor his 4th of the game. Points from Ryan Curran, Mark O'Connell, Darragh McDermott and Kevin O'Loughlin sealed a victory for Buncrana.
Best for Buncrana were Darach O'Connor, Joseph McGrory and Conor Grant. Scorers: Darach O'Connor 4-4, Kevin O'Loughlin 0-3, Mark O'Connell 0-1, Ryan Curren 0-1 and Darragh McDermott 0-1.
Best for McCumhaills were Stephen Mulligan, Martin Gallagher and Bernard Lafferty. Final Score was 4-10 to 2-05.

A convincing win for the boys from The Cross. The teams were level at half time but the home side took control after the break to record an eleven-point victory. Scorers for St Mary's were P.Blake 0-05, P.OLeary 0-01, C.McNamee0-01.
