Glen Camogs were represented by sisters Danielle & Leanne McCrystal and Rebecca Ferguson in the County Minor team who defeated Antrim in the All Ireland B minor final on Saturday 28th August in Celtic Park. Danielle was vice captain of this successful team. Well done to the team and management on this great achievement.

The camogie club held their annual under 6, under 8 and under 10 camogie blitz on Sunday. The under 6 squad played five matches loosing only one game. The girls all played very well and received medals for their efforts. The under 8 team won their section of the league and played Swatragh in the semi final and they won this game and faced Bellaghy in the final where they were narrowly defeated. Yet again this team put in a great display of camogie and have a great future. The under 10 team didn't do just a well, but won two of their four games. This meant they didn't qualify for the semi finals but a good days camogie was had by all. Thanks to all the girls who organised and refereed this tournament that saw fifty games played. A special word of thanks must go the parents of the children who provided the sandwiches and buns and spent the day in the kitchen making tea. This is very much appreciated by all in the camogie club.
