Crowley: We're taking nothing for granted
November 25, 2011
Charleville manager TJ Crowley says his side will not be taking Tipperary champions Rockwell Rovers lightly when the two sides do battle this Sunday in the Munster club JHC.
After overcoming Kenmare by 1-13 to 0-5 in last Sunday's provincial quarter-final, the Cork champions enter the last four clash as favourites but their manager knows that a tough test awaits them this weekend.
"We certainly won't be taking them for granted, but the fact that we were out last weekend is bound to stand to us, and thankfully we came through the game against Kenmare in injury-time. We were happy enough with our display, because we were a bit wary of taking on Kenmare on their home patch, and the conditions were far from ideal on the day," Crowley told The Corkman newspaper
"It's nice to be playing at home on Sunday, I know the players are eagerly looking forward to it, and we are expecting a huge crowd for the game.
"That brings a certain amount of pressure with it of course, but I will be telling the lads to go out and enjoy themselves, and if we perform as well as we did last Sunday, I would be confident that we can get the result we want."
