U14 County Finals 2012
The U14 County Championship reached its pinnacle on Tuesday evening last when all three County Finals in this grade took place. In the A County Final it was city rivals De La Salle and Gall Tir who were the competitors in this competition. De La Salle who are the County's representatives in the All Ireland Feile na nGael competion in early July overcame Gall Tir on a score line of De La Salle 3-10 Gall Tir 2-3. In the U14 B final it was western representatives Dungarvan who overcame Dunhills St. Annes on a score line of Dungarvan 6-0 St.Annes 2-0. In the U14 C final it was Tramore who took the honours for the very first time in this grade and comprehensively beat Roanmore on a score line of Tramore 9-2 Roanmore 1-0.

Well done to all the teams and their mentors involved for the terrific evening of camogie. The County Board would like to thank the GAA for the use of Walsh Park for the County U14A and C finals and Bonmahon GAA for the use of their facilities for the B final. Thanks to the referees on the night, Kieran O'Toole, Alice Power and Marie Russell for a job well done!.

Cappoquin Camogie Club

Since re-forming in 1999 Cappoquin Camogie Club has grown from strength to strength and continues to do so. Underage titles have been won in every grade from U12 to U18 level since re-forming. In recent years Junior league and championship titles have been won and the club continues to grow. The greatest success to date occurred in 2011 when the U14 girls won the county feile competition and represented Waterford at national level, the girls did everyone proud and hopefully this is a sign of what is to come for Capoquin Camogie.
