Conor Bohan scored two goals in the closing ten minutes to help Moycullen to a famous All-Ireland intermediate club football championship win at HQ.
The mid-February weather was cold and uninspiring at Croke Park but that took nothing away from the enormity of Moycullen's achievement as they defeated a resilient Fingal Ravens outfit by 2-9 to 1-6 to complete a fabulous national success.
The Galway and Connacht champions were in charge early on after Phil Lydon sent over two frees. Mick Deegan's men trailed by 0-5 to 0-2 with seven minutes left in the first half but levelled the game on the half hour thanks to points from Michael White, Stephen Madigan and Darren Daly.
Pat Lydon's injury-time strike gave the winners-elect a slender 0-6 to 0-5 interval lead and Mark Lydon doubled the differential with a point five minutes after the restart.
The Ravens then threatened to turn the match on its head. When Madigan found the net eight minutes into the second period, they led by a point, 1-5 to 0-7.
But Thomas Higgins levelled before Bohan intervened with his match-winning brace.
