Double blow for O'Hanlon

July 04, 2007
Rising Tipperary star Danny O'Hanlon has suffered a double blow, with a hand injury expected to sideline him for six weeks only days after being dropped from 'Babs' Keating's senior panel. The 19-year-old attacker, who scored two goals in a National League clash against Kilkenny earlier this year, broke his hand while playing for Carrick Swans in an under 21 game against Mullinahone last weekend and will miss Tipperary's Munster under 21 championship first round meeting with Cork next Tuesday as a result. O'Hanlon looked like an exciting senior prospect during the National League, but he has struggled with a loss of form and various injuries since then.
