Louth boss Eamonn McEneaney described match winner Christy Grimes as a "great player" as he reviewed his side's 1-11 to 0-13 O'Byrne Cup win over Meath in Drogheda.
Grimes came good by cracking home a 40 yard free deep into added time in extra time to clinch the win for the Wee County.
"I always knew Christy could be relied upon in a tension filled moment.
"He's a great player and we deserved to win."
