Ronan a final doubt

Cork's Neil Ronan
Cork half forward Neil Ronan is in danger of missing the All-Ireland hurling final on September 3 after suffering a broken bone in his hand during Sunday's dramatic semi-final win over Waterford.
Many people were surprised when Ronan, scorer of three points from play, was replaced by Cathal Naughton in the 57th minute. But it later transpired that the Ballyhea man had a broken hand.
It's believed he sustained the injury early in the game as he attempted to catch a dropping ball. He also picked up a shoulder injury shortly before his substitution.
If Ronan fails to make it, Cathal Naughton will be expected to start to the final against either Kilkenny or Clare after scoring 1-1 with his first two touches against the Deise.
