Sligo star Eamonn O'Hara doesn't feel vindicated after the red card he picked up in the All-Ireland qualifier defeat to Westmeath was rescinded. O'Hara and his Sligo team-mate Padraig Doohan were both exonerated by the Central Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday night following their dismissals against the Lake County two weeks ago. O'Hara was sent off in a case of mistaken identity, but Sligo used video evidence to clear his name. However, the former All-Star can't help feeling that Sligo would have won the match if he had stayed on the pitch. "It's disappointing. I don't feel any sense of vindication because I knew I didn't do anything wrong," he said. "The only ones who didn't know on the night were the referee and a linesman. "In fairness to the referee (Michael Ryan), he phoned me last week after the game and put his hand up, explaining that he had acted on the advice of the linesman. But we're out of the championship and we're looking at the fourth round fixtures now feeling that we should be there." Tweet
