Galway's four hurling All-Stars are to be handed the keys of brand new cars in the New Year thanks to the generosity of a local supporter. Portumna motor dealer Al Hayes, whose son Damien was afforded an All-Star award this year, has decided to reward the four players with a 06 Volkswagen Jetta each next month. As well as the aforementioned Damien, other recipients of businessman Hayes' largesse will be fellow Portumna clubman Ollie Canning plus Castlegar's Ger Farragher and Derek Hardiman from Mullagh.
