Jarlath Burns
Former Armagh captain Jarlath Burns has been tipped as a future president of the GAA by former Association chief Peter Quinn. Burns, the former President said, would make "a great president of the GAA." The Fermanagh native was speaking at the launch of Seamus McRory's new book, 'The All-Ireland Dream'. "Jarlath did more for player welfare than anybody else. "He brought players into a new era. "Jarlath was good for his club Silverbridge, a great captain of Armagh, and he has much more to offer the GAA." Burns is currently National Chairman of the GAA's Scor committee but since his playing career came to an end he has become best known for his punditry on BBC Northern Ireland.
