Clouds gather for Tyrone panel

Amidst the spitting rain which cloaked Tyrone's homecoming on Monday 26th September, the biggest cloud of all saw heartfelt thanks pour down on twin servants Peter Canavan and Chris Lawn who announced that they are quitting the inter-county scene.
Both men performed heroicly in helping beat Kerry at Croke Park on Sunday in the All-Ireland SFC final but won't be figuring again for the O'Neill County.
34-year old Canavan played for 14 years for his county and in 50 championship games.
For Lawn, winner of All-Ireland SFC medals in 2003 and this year plus All-Ireland Under 21 medals in 1991 and '92, the decision to retire wasn't too hard.
"I'm not going to fool myself. I was hanging on by my fingernails all year," said Lawn.
"It's tough at stages. I've a wee daughter and I've built my house and I'm so busy working. That's why it's so satisfying.
"I'm not sad. This has been a wonderful experience for myself."
