Wicklow advertise position

January 19, 2005
The Wicklow County Board have gone to great lengths to find a manager for their senior hurling team and have advertised the position in the national media. The search to find a replacement for long serving manager Michael Neary has proven fruitless so far and the county board have been forced to advertise the position. Wicklow hurling has come in for some criticism in recent times but the Garden County have made progress over the last few years and are the current Kehoe Cup holders. With less than three weeks to go before the start of the National Hurling League, the County board have little time on their side to find a new manager and are hopeful that the position can be filled as soon as possible.
