Oisín McConville will manage Wicklow in next year's All-Ireland SFC after committing to another season in charge.

Wicklow GAA has confirmed that the Tailteann Cup-winning manager will see out the two-year term agreed at the end of last season. The news is a huge boost to the Garden County who McConville has led for the past four years.

The 2002 Armagh All-Ireland SFC winner guided the Division 4 outfit to a sensational comeback victory over favourites Down in this summer's Tailteann Cup final which guarantees them Sam Maguire football in 2027.

It has also been announced that John 'Bosco' O'Neill will continue as Wicklow hurling manager for a fourth season, with Ciaran Goff taking charge of the U20 hurlers and Liam Kavanagh at the minor hurling helm.
