
The 2026 Fitzgibbon Cup commences today with two games taking place.
Defending champions UL play host to Maynooth University at 7.30pm in a group that also includes last year’s runners-up DCU. Before then, UL’s neighbours Mary Immaculate College Limerick will be at home to SETU Waterford at 2pm.
There are two more Round 1 fixtures down for decision at 7.30pm tomorrow. Traditional giants UCC face local rivals MTU Cork at the Mardyke, while University of Galway welcome UCD to Dangan.
