Grace Murphy from Cork club Naomh Abán has been honoured with The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month award for October 2025.

Grace (22) played a starring role as Naomh Abán came through a very busy month of key fixtures in October.

It all began with a Cork county final victory over Midleton before Naomh Abán secured wins over St Anne’s (Waterford) and Moycarkey-Borris (Tipperary) in the AIB Munster Championship.

Those wins propelled Naomh Abán into a provincial final with Kerry opponents Clounmacon Moyvane, who they defeated after extra-time in a thrilling game in early November.

Grace, who was also prominent in 2022 when Naomh Abán went all the way to the All-Ireland Junior Club final, has been remarkably consistent throughout the 2025 campaign.

A key player for her side, Grace operates in a roving attacking role, often providing a valuable link between midfield and the forward line.

A creative influence, Grace is also more than capable of taking vital scores when the opportunities present themselves.

Grace will be a key player for Naomh Abán in the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship semi-final against Cavan opponents Knockbride away from home on Sunday November 30.
