Killoe Emmet Óg completed a clean sweep of Longford SFC, JFC and JFC 'C' triumphs last weekend.

On what was an unforgettable weekend for the boys in white and green, their third team got the ball rolling with a 2-13 to 1-12 victory over Ardagh-Moydow in the JFC 'C' decider at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park on Saturday.

More celebrations were to follow on Sunday when the Young Emmets returned to Longford GAA headquarters to pick up two more pieces of silverware. Just like in 2023, Ronan McGoldrick scored the winning point as Killoe pipped Colmcille by 2-9 to 1-11 in the SFC final. It was the club's 15th time to lift the Connolly Cup.

In the curtain-raiser, Killoe claimed their sixth JFC title with a hard-earned 1-17 to 0-18 victory over Clonguish. Niall O'Reilly top-scored with 0-9, while Gerard Keogh fired the only goal midway through the second half as the winners came from nine points down to claim the Seamus Flynn Cup.
