Brian Lohan will continue as Clare senior hurling manager for another three years.

The All-Ireland SHC winning full back and manager was handed the extension - which will keep him at the helm until 2028 - at a county board meeting last night. Lohan has already served seven years as manager, having delivered a famous Allianz League and All-Ireland double last year.

Hampered by injuries, the Banner failed to reach the same heights this year, but will be looking to bounce back in 2026. Lohan's backroom team for next season has yet to be finalised.

Meanwhile, Terence Fahy and Ger O'Connell have also been reappointed Clare U20 and minor hurling managers respectively. Peter Keane is expected to remain on as senior football manager, as is former goalkeeper Joe Hayes as minor football boss.
