Eamonn Fitzmaurice believes Cavan’s win over Mayo won’t be the only shock in this year’s All-Ireland SFC.

The Kerry All-Ireland winning player and manager told the RTÉ GAA Podcast: "This year, with everything that is going on, there is a freshness and uncertainty about it.

"Teams are going to take points off each other, teams are going to beat each other, we’re going to get the surprise results.

"It’s great for the championship, it’s great for us looking on that there isn’t a predictability about it, there isn’t a procession about it, there isn’t anything about teams pulling hand brakes or anything else because on any given weekend teams are going to beat each other, which is great and exciting."
