A GAA club in Westmeath is reviewing its security after vandalism was carried out at its grounds.
St Loman’s, Mullingar, who are the reigning senior football champions in the Lake County, are looking at restricting access to their 4G pitch and other pitches to club members only after underage goalposts were damaged and dumped on top of each other.
In an online video, the club said: “We’re sorry to have to share these images of anti-social behaviour in our club grounds recently by non- members. The damage done by a small minority is extremely disappointing and undoes so much of the collective hard work done behind the scenes by our volunteers.”
