Cork ace Patrick Horgan held his nerve to send this afternoon’s thrilling All-Ireland SHC final at Croke Park to extra time.
Having became the all-time top scorer in the hurling championship history during the first-half with his third point of the game, Horgan grabbed some more crucial scores for the Rebels in the second-half.
However, none were more important than this free in the sixth minute of injury-time to rescue a 1-27 to 3-21 draw for Pat Ryan’s men:
