Shane Lowry has become the main sponsor of his beloved Clara GAA.

The top golfer and son of Offaly 1982 All-Ireland SFC winner Brendan Lowry will sponsor Clara GAA, Camogie and LGFA teams. The new jerseys bear the name of ‘The Old Warehouse’ bar and restaurant in Tullamore which he purchased along with one-time Westmeath goalkeeper Alan Clancy in 2022.

The 2019 Open champion and Clara GAA president already sponsors Offaly GAA and underage leagues in the county.

"Today marks a momentous occasion for our club as we unveil not only our stunning new jerseys, but also a groundbreaking partnership that not only strengthens our GAA club but also uplifts our community in profound ways,” Clara GAA said in a statement.

"We're delighted to introduce ‘The Old Warehouse’ as our esteemed sponsor & club patron alongside a collaborative effort with ‘As I Am’, Ireland’s autism charity."
