McCluskey reckons Dubs could stick with Comerford ahead of Cluxton

Former Fermanagh captain Ryan McCluskey reckons Dublin could stick with goalkeeper Evan Comerford throughout this year’s championship.
Comerford was between the posts throughout the Dubs’ run to last Sunday’s Allianz Football League final and, while there are some that suspect legendary No 1 Stephen Cluxton will return to goal in a bid for his 10th All-Ireland title, McCluskey questioned whether it would be the right call from manager Dessie Farrell to start the 42-year-old.
"I think Dublin might retain Evan Comerford," he said on the RTE GAA podcast.
"He plays a bit more out the pitch and I think Dublin have to add that 15th attacking player over the next number of months to live with the likes of Derry.
"I think they struggle against sides who play that 'attacking keeper’, in this new era.
"Both sides epitomise that modern-game approach where everyone attacks, everyone defends together."
