Limerick will begin the defence of their Allianz Hurling League title against Antrim in Thurles.
The TUS Gaelic Grounds was due to host Sunday week’s Division 1 Group B opener, but it has now been confirmed that it will take place at FBD Semple Stadium instead as the Ennis Road pitch is currently undergoing repairs and will be out of action until early March.
After their Munster Hurling League clash with Cork was postponed three times due to inclement weather, leading to the competition being cancelled, Limerick’s next game will, ironically, be in Semple Stadium this Sunday when they face Tipperary in a challenge match in aid of the Dillon Quirke Foundation.
