Clifford brothers to miss start of League

Paudie and David Clifford will miss Kerry's first two Allianz Football League games against Derry and Monaghan.
Kerry manager Jack O'Connor confirmed yesterday that the brothers will sit out the first two rounds over the next two weekends, but should be back to face Mayo in Round 3 in Tralee after a week's break. The news doesn't come as a surprise as the brothers are coming off the back of a long 2023 campaign with Kerry, East Kerry and Fossa.
Paudie was recently named Kingdom captain for 2024 after being nominated for the role by county champions East Kerry.
