Paudie Clifford named Kerry captain

Paudie Clifford has been appointed as Kerry senior football captain for 2024.
He succeeds his younger brother David in the role after skippering East Kerry to back-to-back Kerry SFC titles last November. The honour of nominating the Kingdom captain lies with the reigning county senior football champions who duly put the Fossa clubman forward for the role.
Kerry have also named Tomás O'Connor from Crotta O'Neills as their senior hurling captain for the coming year.
