Former Leitrim full back Seamus Quinn has been appointed manager of Westmeath club side Tang.
An All-Star in 1994 when Leitrim won their first Connacht SFC title in 67 years, Quinn has coached both his native Gortletteragh and Killoe Emmet Óg in Longford as well as the Leitrim juniors to Connacht success in 2017.
Tang, who are based just outside Ballymahon, were the surprise-packets of last year’s Westmeath SFC. Under Offaly man Keith Higgins, they qualified from the weaker Section B with a series of impressive displays before losing at the quarter-final stage to Tyrrellspass.
TweetTang GAA are delighted to announce the appointment of Seamus Quinn as manager of our Senior Football Team for 2024.
