Last night's O'Byrne Cup clash between Wexford and Wicklow was moved from Innovate Wexford Park to Halo Tiles Centre of Excellence in Ferns at short notice due to an electrical issue at the county grounds.
With many spectators already in their seats and the Wicklow team out on the pitch, the new floodlights at Wexford Park began to flicker, leaving authorities with no option but to switch venue.
The first round tie eventually went ahead in Ferns close to 9pm and resulted in a 4-15 to 2-12 victory for the home side with Ben Brosnan, Mark Rossiter (two) and Conor Kinsella among the goals.
