Tony Kelly is likely to miss most of Clare’s Allianz HL campaign due to an ankle injury

Local Radio Station Clare FM have reported that the Ballyhea clubman has undergone surgery on the injury and is now a doubt for the start of the Munster SHC.

Kelly underwent ankle surgery at the end of 2021 and missed a large portion of the following season as a result, but his recovery was so good that he was rewarded with an All Star award at the end of 2022. Clare supporters will be hoping for similar in 2024.
