The new-look St Conleth's Park in Newbridge and Tuam Stadium are beginning to take shape.
Kildare GAA has posted photos of the new 3,000-seat stand at St Conleth's Park which will have dressing rooms, officials' changing rooms, a Club Kildare Lounge, multi-purpose rooms and shops. The Newbridge venue is due to reopen in late 2024 after a €17.5m redevelopment.
The old 'hayshed' stand in Tuam Stadium recently came down and a new structure has already appeared on the skyline, photos of which were posted on the DAFTS Development Advocates for Tuam Stadium Facebook page this week.
The revamp has been made possible thanks to a donation of €350,000 from the late Joe and Helen O’Toole of O’Toole’s Tuam, who committed to supporting the refurbishment in 2018. Unlike St Conleth's Park, Tuam Stadium will remain open for club games during the redevelopment works.
TweetIts great to see the ongoing work on the redevelopment of Cedral St. Conleth's Park, thanks to The Elliott Group.
