Meyler appointed Cork minor hurling boss

John Meyler will take charge of the Cork minor hurlers in 2024.
The former senior boss was appointed as the Rebels' new minor hurling manager at last night's county board meeting along with Micheál O’Sullivan as minor football manager. Both have been involved at U15 level in recent times.
Wexford native Meyler's selectors will be Vincent Hurley, Seanie McGrath, Mike Mulcahy, Padraig O'Sullivan and Peter Sykes, while the minor football selectors are Haulie O'Neill, Michael Shields, Jimmy Thompson and Pat Mackey.
The meeting in Páirc Uí Chaoimh also voted to revert to the U18 age grade at minor level with only players in their final year of minor allowed to play in adult competitions at junior 'A' and below.
