Cox has red card rescinded

Conor Cox is free to line out for Éire Óg in their upcoming Roscommon IFC final after having his red card overturned.
The county star was sent off on a straight red card in the closing stages of Éire Óg’s semi-final win over Elphin after an altercation with opponent Niall Higgins. However, Éire Óg successfully appealed the decision to the Roscommon CCC on Monday night after providing video evidence of the incident.
It means that the Kerry native will now be able to play in Sunday week’s final against Castlerea St Kevin’s.
