Tom Devereux and Billy Kiernan are the new joint-managers of the Laois senior ladies football team.

The pair replace former county star Donie Brennan who, during his four years in charge, led the O’Moore County to All-Ireland intermediate glory in 2022 and consolidated their senior status this year.

In a Facebook post announcing their appointment, Laois LGFA said: “Tom Devereux and Billy Kiernan are no strangers to Laois football as they were part of the set up in both Emo and Portarlington GAA men's senior teams. They also managed Sarsfields LGFA in Kildare and brought great progression.”

Both Devereux and Kiernan believe there is massive potential in the O'Moore County.

"It is an exciting opportunity for us to work with such a talented and ambitious county and we will all look forward to the journey we are about to undertake together. We are looking forward to the challenges ahead, and having a positive impact in Laois football,” they said.
