McNulty set for Laois return

Justin McNulty is being heavily linked with a return to the Laois senior football manager’s post.
The O’Moore County have been without a manager since Billy Sheehan stepped down at the beginning of July. However, it would now appear that the 2002 All-Ireland SFC winner with Armagh is set to reprise the role he left a decade ago.
During his previous spell in charge, McNulty led Laois to promotion to Division 1 of the Allianz League in 2011, while they also reached an All-Ireland SFC quarter-final in 2012. A meeting of the Laois GAA executive last night was expected to recommend the SDLP MLA for Newry and Armagh for the role.
