Errigal Ciaran will face Trillick in this year’s Tyrone senior football championship final after cruising past Ardboe with a 2-19 to 0-7 victory in Carrickmore this evening.

The defending champions were relentless in the first-half, running up a 0-14 to 0-3 by the half-hour mark before Joe Oguz’s goal sent them in with an unassailable 14-point lead at the break.

Aidan McCrory’s goal give minutes into the restart served to pile more misery on Ardboe ahead of Cormac Devlin, Dermot Morrow and Peter Harte sailing over scores that added to the holders’ tally.

Eugene Og Teague and Shea O’Hare grabbed consolation points for Ardboe towards the finish, as Errigal Ciaran already had their sights set on a decider date with Trillick on Sunday week, October 29th at HealY Park.
