Trillick moved into third Tyrone senior football championship final in five years thanks to a 2-11 to 1-9 victory over Dungannon at Healy Park last night.

The 2019 champions dominated the last 20 minutes at the Omagh venue to book their berth in the decider against Errigal Ciaran or Ardboe who clash today (Saturday) in Carrickmore at 4.15pm.

Ryan Gray’s early goal gave Trillick the perfect start and they’d hold their advantage until Dalaigh Jones hit their net five minutes before half-time.

Lee Brennan (2) and Gray sent Trillick in with a 1-6 to 1-3 lead at the interval, but it was Dungannon had the better spell in the third quarter with points from Patrick McKearney and Paul Donaghy trimming the deficit to one.

Trillick kicked on again and the scores of Ciaran Daly and James Garrity moved them five clear before wing-back Sean O’Donnell wrapped up the victory with their second goal, ensuring a return to the O’Neill County SFC decider.
