Clonlara's John Conlon in the Clare colours

Clonlara will face Crusheen in this year’s Clare senior hurling championship final after seeing off Feakle by 0-23 to 0-15 at Cusack Park, Ennis this afternoon.

It was five points in the space of six minutes from Aidan Moriarty, Ian Galvin and Micheál O’Loughlin (3) in the first-half that saw Clonlara take control of this semi-final showdown.

Feakle did get motoring again but two points via Colm Galvin saw the would-be winners carrying in a four-point advantage at the half.

Clonlara outscored their opponents by 0-3 to 0-1 after turnaround and kept the scoreboard ticking over, with free-taker O’Loughlin (0-8) and Aidan Moriarty (0-5) to the fore for them as they now get set for their first SHC final since 2016 in two weeks’ time.

Yesterday (Saturday) Crusheen into their first Canon Hamilton Cup in nine years thanks to a 1-24 to 0-19 win over Scariff at Cusack Park.
