Dublin senior football manager Dessie Farrell is set to stay on in his post for another two seasons.
Dublin county board announced last night (Friday) that the two-time All-Ireland winning boss will remain at the helm with capital men until the end of the 2025 season.
After his appointment in 2020, Farrell steered the Leinster kingpins to their sixth consecutive Sam Maguire Cup triumph before they were beaten in the ’21 and ’22 semi-finals.
This past summer saw the Dubs overcome Kerry on All-Ireland final day to return to the summit and, having already been slated to stay in charge next year, it was confirmed that Farrell will remain in his role for another two at least.
"We are delighted that Dessie has agreed to stay on with the Dublin Senior Football team for another two seasons,” stated Dublin county board chairman Mick Seavers.
"Dessie and his backroom team have dedicated so much of their time and effort to Dublin GAA over the past four seasons. We look forward to continuing to work with them in the years ahead."
