Jim McGuinness is set to begin his preparations for 2024 with the Donegal senior football team by bringing them on a special training camp.

DonegalLive.ie reports this week that McGuinness will take his squad away for a seven-day long camp in December.

It has not been determined yet whether the camp will be at home or aboard, however funds for its cost, which is understood to be in the region of €80,000, are believed to already be covered.

Donegal’s 2024 campaign gets underway in the new year when they enter the Dr McKenna Cup before embarking on Division 2 of the Allianz Football League at the end of January.
