The finalists for this year’s Cavan senior football championship are set to be revealed this weekend with a semi-final double-header set for Kingspan Breffni on Sunday.
Having saw off Laragh United by four points in their quarter-final replay last weekend, 2021 winners Ramor United take on Kingscourt Stars at the Cavan Town venue at 3pm.
As for holders Gowna, they face favourites Crosserlough after overcoming Killygarry at the second attempt last Sunday.
Gowna and Crosserlough met at the same juncture last year, with the Longford border men pulling off a 2-12 to 2-11 win thanks to Oisin Pierson’s injury-time free which settled a thrilling contest.
Meanwhile, 12-time champions Mullahoran will battle for their senior status when they host Lacken earlier in the day at Our Lady of Lourdes Park (2.30pm).
