Mayo spent almost €1.2 million on its inter-county teams this past season.

A report from WesternPeople.ie this week confirmed that figures presented at the last county board meeting showed that €1,183,622 was spent on inter-county panels during the 10-month period ending July 31st, 2023.

That figure is approximately up €100,000 on the total that went into panels for 2022.

A report for breakdown of each team’s total won’t be revealed until the year’s financial statement is prepared ahead of the county convention.
