Offaly GAA top brass are due to meet to decide on whether Kilcormac/Killoughey should have two senior hurling teams next year.

The green and golds' second string defeated Clodiagh Gaels 0-12 to 0-8 last Saturday to be crowned senior ‘B’ champions and, as of now, are promoted to the top flight. But there is a possibility that they could be regraded with Seir Kieran – who were relegated to SHC ‘B’ last month – taking their place in the senior ranks instead. Clodiagh Gaels will also be keeping a close eye on developments.

K/K’s first team booked their place in the Offaly SHC final against holders Shinrone last Sunday, while their third team had a whopping 45 players listed on the programme for their JHC semi-final – which they lost to Brosna Gaels – on the same day.
