Kilcoo's Down SFC semi-final victory over Clonduff at Páirc Esler last evening was overshadowed by a late brawl that resulted in four players receiving red cards and a row also breaking out in the stand.

Referee Conor Curran issued four red cards, three to Clonduff players Ross Carr, Darren O’Hagan and Eamon Brown, and one to Kilcoo's Niall Branagan, which the Magpies are expected to appeal in an attempt to have him available for the county final against Burren on Sunday week.

Kilcoo's 12th consecutive county final appearance was never in doubt after goals in each half from Stephen McConville and Sean Óg McCusker eased them to a 2-15 to 1-7 victory.
