Hayden to become first woman to ref Carlow men's championship game

History will be made tomorrow evening when Marion Hayden becomes the first woman to referee a men's football championship game in Carlow.
Hayden, who is a well-known LGFA inter-county referee, will take charge of the IFC Round 2 clash between Kildavin/Clonegal and Kilbride which throws in at Netwatch Cullen Park at 6pm.
Meanwhile, former Leinster and Ireland rugby star Sean O'Brien was among the scorers in Fighting Cocks' 1-10 to 0-11 JFC 'A' win over Leighlinbridge last night.
In Thursday's only SFC game, Fenagh were 2-12 to 0-9 winners over Mount Leinster Rangers.
