Meath have announced the appointment of new U20 hurling, minor hurling and minor football managers for 2024.

Former Kilmessan and county star Ger O’Neill succeeds James Andrews as U20 hurling manager after a two-year spell as minor boss. Replacing O’Neill as minor hurling manager is Drumree clubman Martin Lynch, who was in charge of the same group at U16 level this year.

Having been part of Oisin McConville’s Wicklow senior football management team for the past 12 months, Joe Cowley replaces Stephen Morgan as minor football manager. Cowley is a two-time Keegan Cup winner with Seneschalstown who previously managed the Yellow Furze men and coached Inniskeen in Monaghan.

2021 All-Ireland MFC winning manager Cathal O'Bric was ratified as U20 football supremo at the June county board meeting, taking over the reins from John McCarthy.
