Eamonn Fitzmaurice has described Jim McGuinness’ second coming as Donegal football manager as ‘game changing’.
Fitzmaurice, whose Kerry team denied McGuinness a second All-Ireland SFC title during his first spell in charge of the Tir Chonaill County in 2014, expects the Glenties man to make a big impact on his return to inter-county management.
“McGuinness returning is game changing for both Donegal & the game,” he tweeted.
“It will be fascinating to see what he brings this time round. As the 1st UEFA Pro licence holder to manage in the GAA & considering his track record of innovation, rest assured he will bring plenty.
“Grab the popcorn.”
