Former Tyrone star Sean Cavanagh is set to take over his native club Moy as player-manager, according to a report from BelfastLive.co.uk.

It comes after the club parted ways with manager Kevin Murray last week, as they sit mid-table with five rounds left in the All-County Football League.

Moy are due to play Kildress in their intermediate championship opener on the weekend of September 23/24.

Five-time All-Star Cavanagh, who came out of playing retirement late last year, is understood to be taking charge with a couple of clubmen as part of his backroom team.
