Brian Dooher and Feargal Logan will remain at the Tyrone football helm for another three years.

The extension was ratified at last night's county board meeting and will see the duo continue as joint-managers until 2026.

In a short statement, Tyrone GAA said: "At tonight's meeting of Coiste Chontae Thír Eoghain, delegates overwhelmingly endorsed Senior Football Joint Managers Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher for a further three-year term."

The duo guided Tyrone to a surprise All-Ireland SFC success in their first season in charge in 2021, but the Red Hands have failed to reach the same heights since, enduring a poor 2022 before suffering a heavy All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat to Kerry this summer after they had come within inches of being knocked out in the group stage by Westmeath.

Tyrone’s indifferent form led to speculation that Dooher and Logan wouldn’t seek another term before they recently decided to put their names forward for the role once again.

Paul Devlin and Gerard Donnelly were also reappointed as Tyrone U20 and minor football respectively for three-year terms at last night's meeting.
