Paddy Small’s goal left this afternoon’s All-Ireland SFC final between Dublin and Kerry on a knife edge heading towards the closing quarter at Croke Park.
After Paul Geaney’s goal had snatched the half-time lead for Kerry, Jack O’Connor’s men upped their advantage with points early in the restart.
However, a brilliant turnover from Colm Basquel inside his own half led to Small get putting through and his deflected effort (see it below) ended up in the roof of the Kingdom net to make it 1-8 apiece on 45 minutes.
